Monday, 19 ARRIVE MELBOURNE
Upon arrival at Melbourne Airport you will be met by a representative who will
hand over your Australian documentation and assist you with your private
transfer to your accommodation.
Melbourne is Australia’s second largest city with its birth and development
paralleled with Queen Victoria’s reign. The city boasts elaborate Victorian-era
buildings, gracious parks and gardens and tree-lined boulevards. Today Melbourne
is a vibrant multicultural city which is passionate about the arts, sports, food
and wine and the good life.
Today you may attend the Australian Open or spend the day at your leisure .
While in Melbourne we suggest the following optional activities:

TTi’s Steve Clark on what are the hottest matches for the day.
Saturday, 24 MELBOURNE TO SYDNEY
Upon arrival at Sydney Airport you will be met by a representative who will
assist you with your private transfer to your accommodation.
Sydney, Australia’s oldest and largest settlement is a vibrant city built around
one of the most spectacular harbours in the world. The city is instantly
recognisable by the unique architecture of the famous Opera House and Sydney
Harbour Bridge. Sydney also boasts attractions such as the historic Rocks,
Victorian-era Paddington and excellent beaches such as Bondi and Manly.
Today can play tennis with TTi guest and have coaching by Steve Clark or at we
would suggest while in Sydney we would the following optional activities:
• Take the Ultimate Sydney tour including a half day city sights and afternoon
cruise on Sydney Harbour.
• Visit the Sydney Aquarium and Taronga Park Zoo
• Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge for panoramic views
• Take a surfing lesson at Bondi or Manly Beach and learn to catch the waves
• Shop at Darling Harbour, the Queen Victoria Building and the Rocks District

Sunday, 25 SYDNEY TO THE HUNTER VALLEY AND RETURN
Optional Cultural Exchange tennis play day for those interested
This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your guide and coach for a
full day tour to the Hunter Valley Wine region.
This is more than just a wine tour. You will explore rural farmland and
Australian natural bush, mountain ranges and grazing land as well as panoramic
perspectives of the Hunter Valley. Exclusive morning tea and coffee included at
Calga Springs Sanctuary with uncaged Emus and Kangaroos.
Learn about the Convict and Pioneering history and view several sections of the
original 1820 convict built Old Great Northern Road and travel through the
historic Wollombi village, established in the early 19th century and a wonderful
example of the small colonial rural townships of this era.
Visit Hunter Valleys’ best boutique wineries. Sample up to 30 premium Hunter
Wines, many of which are not available anywhere else in the world. Scrumptious
wine and food appreciation – you will enjoy a tasting experience with an exotic
selection of four food

with four premium wines and learn about the history of the Hunter region.
Your guide will explain wine making and the industry in the Hunter. You will
return to your hotel at approximately 5.30 - 6pm
Monday, 26 SYDNEY – AUSTRALIA DAY
(Public Holiday)
A short stroll from your accommodation to the jetty where you will board
your cruise boat. Enjoy the famous annual Ferrython on spectacular Sydney
Harbour with live commentary and freshly percolated coffee and tea.
At the conclusion of the cruise there is so much to see and do as Sydney is
alive with activities and events – enjoy Jazz in Hyde Park, the Rebellion at
the Museum of Sydney, take a ride on a vintage visit Darling Harbour where
there will be food stalls, music, entertainment and in the evening a
spectacular Fireworks display.
Tuesday, 27 SYDNEY TO THE GREAT BARRIER REEF VIA CAIRNS
This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your private vehicle
and driver and transferred to Sydney Airport
Fly Sydney to Cairns (cost not included)
Upon arrival at Cairns Airport you will be transferred to the helicopter
base for your scenic flight to your boat and the Great Barrier Reef (cost is
included).
Step aboard the Reef Encounter for your Great Barrier Reef Experience. This
is the ultimate way for your to see the reef at its beast day and night! The
boat accommodates only 42 guests at one time and provides all the comforts

Thursday, 29 GREAT BARRIER REEF TO PORT DOUGLAS
This afternoon you will be transferred back to Cairns by boat. A highlight
will be a visit to “Breaking Patches” where you will visit the breeding
grounds of Tina the Turtle and her family.
Upon arrival at the marina in Cairns you will be met by your vehicle and
driver and transferred to your accommodation in Port Douglas (approximately
a 1 hour journey)
Picturesque Port Douglas is the hub of the Reef and Rainforest Coast and
attracts visitors for its old fashioned charm, wide tree-lined streets and
superb holiday attractions. From Port Douglas the Great Barrier Reef is just
15 km off-shore. There are over 1,000 islands in the Great Barrier Reef and
the best are accessible from mainland Tropical North Queensland. Some have
diverse vegetation including rainforest and are encircled by coral reefs.
This evening cultural exchange tennis play will be at the Mirage Country
Club and dinner with players.
